Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee Make Divorce Settlement Final

How fabulous it must be to be the children of Russell Simmons and Kimora Lee!  Kimora, who is very pregnant and currently in a very happy relationship with sexy hunk Djimon Hounsou, will receive a hefty monthly payment to be the primary care giver of her beautiful girls with Russell. 
According to People.com, “Simmons has agreed to pay child support for daughters, Ming, 9, and Aoki, 6, of $20,000 each per month until the girls turn 19, according to court papers filed Thursday in Los Angeles.  Lee Simmons also won sole legal and physical custody of the girls, with monitored visitation for Simmons. Simmons also agreed to provide a new car, worth at least $60,000, for the children's use, until they turn 16. The car will be replaced every three years, documents show.”
Of course Ming and Aoki need a new car every three years, hello; they drive in the fab lane!  And Russell wants everyone to know that this court determined settlement was something that he was forced to do.  He loves his girls and whatever he is able to give to them, they can and will have.  He wrote in a blog message on Global Grind, “I am reading these stories today about how a judge ordered me to pay Kimora $40,000 a month in child support and I want to make something very clear. Nothing was ordered, it was given. My kids have a fabulous life; they are exposed to a broad range of artistic and scholastic educational programs and I’m very happy to contribute to that.  As long as I have it, they can have it. If I ever don’t have it, I’m coming to live with them!”

Tyrese’s Wife Wants Him to Pay!

Who knew R&B singer Tyrese Gibson was married and had a baby?  No matter, Tyrese and wife Norma were married in 2007 and Tyrese filed for divorce 10 months later. According to the court documents filed by Norma, the two met in London in 2002 when Norma was an unemployed student living with her mother.  They fell in love; Tyrese showered her with expensive gifts, trips and unlimited access to his credit cards.  After a year of dating, Tyrese asked Norma’s to move to the states with him, asking her parent’s permission and in 2003 she moved to America to be with him.  From that point on, he took care of her and all of her financial needs, and after the birth of their daughter Shayla in July of 2007, they decided to get married.  She was forced to sign a prenuptial agreement and claims that after the marriage, they began to have disagreements; Tyrese would get aggressive, and leave her in the house for weeks at a time.  He also cut off her access to all of his money and then to her shock, served her with divorce papers.
Tyrese is now paying her $5,000 a month, $2,700 a month in rent, and about $800 for the lease on her Range Rover.  Norma says that her monthly expenses have exceeded what Tyrese currently provides and needs more.  In the court documents, she claims that an outfit for Shayla cost over $350 and Tyrese doesn’t want his daughter to wear the same outfit twice.  She spends over $300 on toys, $1,000 on Shayla’s jewelry, and the undocumented amounts of money spent on travel, trips to Disneyland, and the first class lifestyle that they have grown accustomed to living.  Norma is asking for $12,000 a month.
