POEARTISTRY
By
Rage Sinclaire
Poeartistry was conceptualized and brought to fruition in the fall of 2001 when the first self printed work of poetry entitled Poeartistry by author Rage Sinclaire. Poeartistry came to be print do to the assistance of Adelphi University’s Center for African American and Ethnic Studies and the Office of the Provost at Adelphi University.
Poeartistry is the brainchild of Rage Sinclaire. The vision consists of four parts of the artistic spectrum, 1- Poetry, 2- Illustration,
3- Performance and 4- Techno-Artistic Interpretation (Digitized Illustrations and Original Musical and Poetic Accompaniment). The content of the concept derives from the eclectic experiences of the artist. The artist primary focus and long term goal of Poeartistry is to convey the Spoken Word in an enlightened and enjoyable manner while displaying a respect for its’ future as well as its past. Also to introduce the viewing public to issues that although at times spoken of yet never approached in the clear and multi-layered manner that is Poeartistry.
